Each product includes a list of gemstones and metals that it’s suitable to clean. You can also find a full list on our Cleaning Tips page. Look at the metals and gemstones that is in your jewelry and determine what is the most delicate part and that will determine which cleaner to use. If your jewelry includes porous pears, soft opals, plated metals or other delicate components choose one of the gentle cleaning products like the Delicate Jewelry Cleaner, Jewelry Care Wipes, or Jewelry Cleaning Stick. If you’re unsure what your jewelry is comprised of, we recommend using a gentle cleaning formula.
Gem Glow jewelry care products easily and expertly clean jewelry and watches comprised of metals and gemstones. We don’t recommend using these products on leather, wood, nylon or fabric watch bands. As you polish with the polishing cloth you’ll notice the tarnish and discoloration being transferred from your jewelry onto the cloth. This means it’s working! You can use both sides of teach cloth layer to polish jewelry. We don’t recommend washing or laundering your Gold & Silver Polishing Cloth. The infused treatment on the white inner layers would wash away.
Add only the Delicate Jewelry Cleaner to the water in the Clean + Care Professional Ultrasonic Cleaner. We don’t recommend using the Fine or Silver Jewelry Cleaner in the ultrasonic.
